Aidan graduated with a BA in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from the University of Oxford. Having been lucky enough to be taught by several motivating and inspiring teachers when he was at school, Aidan wanted the chance to pass on the passion for learning that his teachers had brought out in him as a student and joined the Teach First programme to train as a maths teacher. During his time as a teacher he took a GCSE C/D borderline class of 17 students and guided them to achieve 10 Cs and 7 Bs and also helped a student become the first from the school to gain an Oxbridge university place.
Aidan has recently left teaching to become a policy adviser with the Department for Energy and Climate Change. With previous tutoring experience and in depth knowledge of the school maths curriculum, Aidan has successfully coached students of a variety of ages and abilities to achieve their potential. Outside of work Aidan loves running and playing the piano and guitar.
Aidan is available for online tuition to students anywhere in the world. Find out more about online tuition.
Aidan, like all of our tutors, is a qualified teacher and has been interviewed by us personally. All of our tutors have at least two years of classroom teaching experience and come with fantastic references and criminal records checks.
