After studying Manufacturing Engineering at the University of Cambridge, Gopal went on to teach Maths and Physics at two schools in Birmingham, UK, via the Teach First scheme. During that time he completed a Masters degree (MA in Educational Leadership) with Warwick University, being awarded a distinction (top 5%) for his work. He has just finished his MBA at the University of Cambridge, Judge Business School, where he was awarded a £28,000 scholarship and a Director's award for academic achievement.
Gopal has always been motivated by the opportunities that understanding maths and physics can bring. From experience outside the classroom _ consulting to multi-billion dollar companies, working with high-tech start-ups and representing Cambridge University at an international competition in Dubai to address global health problems _ he can bring the subjects to life, linking syllabus content with current affairs, business trends and social media.
In his current role as a business consultant to start-up organisations and as a teacher, he has the ability to build lasting relationship, to understand what needs to be done and to execute a plan with calmness, care and compassion.
Gopal takes the time to understand the problem before working tirelessly to solve it. It is important to treat each situation and context appropriately, so if you struggle with a concept, or a technique, or an equation or are just feeling lost, Gopal will take the time to find the right path to get you back on track.
