Theory of Knowledge
Alexis graduated from Oxford with a BA in Theology (2:1), and went on to complete a PGCE at St Mary's in London. He now teaches IB Theory of Knowledge full time at a leading London school.
Whether you want help developing your Project from Intermediate to very good/excellent, advice with improving your essay or just some explanations of key concepts and topics, Alexis will de-code Theory of Knowledge for you and will help you achieve your TOK goals. He is in his fourth year of teaching and is an experienced TOK educator. Alexis is familiar with both the TOK presentation and essay. He gives excellent detailed feedback to his students and is currently working with Students in Grade 11 as they prepare for their TOK presentation.
Alexis is passionate about TOK and really enjoys teaching it to students of all abilities. His job is to "de-code" Theory of Knowledge, so if you are stuck he is happy to help you in the same way that he assists all of his students in class every day to achieve great resultƒ the only difference being that he can give you his undivided attention, skills, expertise and advice! He has heaps of useful resources that can help take your presentation or essay to the next level, from generating knowledge questions to structuring essays in a way that will best meet the assessment criteria.
Alexis has hosted a seminar on this year's TOK essay titles and has particular expertise in Ethics, Religious Knowledge systems and Faith as a way of knowing. He also has considerable experience in teaching units on Sense Perception and Reason, as well as the Natural and Human Sciences.
