After graduating from the University of Birmingham, Ed has enjoyed a successful career in teaching, working as an Advanced Skills Teacher and an A level examiner. He has an excellent track record of helping students surpass their expected grades, including up to A* level. He has experience of teaching Philosophy, Religious Studies, Classics and Applied Science to A level standard.
He was officially graded an outstanding teacher and had highly positive feedback from an Ofsted inspector who commented on the pace and rate of progress students made during the observed lesson.
In addition, he has experience tutoring younger students on the Common Entrance Exam and the Eton List Test, specifically on their non-verbal and verbal reasoning skills. These students currently attend Dulwich Prep and hope to achieve places at Dulwich College and Eton respectively.
Ed's academic interests lie in analytic philosophy, specifically epistemology and ethics. During his free time Ed enjoys cycling and walks through obscure locations.
Ed is available for online tuition to students anywhere in the world. Find out more about online tuition.
Ed, like all of our tutors, is a qualified teacher and has been interviewed by us personally. All of our tutors have at least two years of classroom teaching experience and come with fantastic references and criminal records checks.
