Victoria has six years’ experience at tutoring pupils in French, Spanish and English, and has most recently tutored children in preparation for success at the 11+ and at GCSE level. She graduated from the University of St Andrews in 2011 and qualified as a teacher through the prestigious Teach First programme.
Emma teaches at the selective Notting Hill and Ealing High School (GDST), teaching Year 7 to Year 13, including Cambridge IGCSE English Literature and English Language, as well as both English Literature and English Language A Levels (OCR and AQA boards respectively). She prepares students for English degrees and Oxbridge entrance through enrichment sessions and mock interviews, and advises her Sixth Form tutor group on university entrance.
Throughout academic study, Tim has continually set himself high expectations; he achieved nearly all A* grades at GCSE, and secured a high International Baccalaureate result that enabled him to study English at the University of Exeter. He fully applied himself at degree level, enjoying the diverse and challenging modules (as well as his year abroad focusing on North American literature in Canada), and he was very pleased to ultimately be awarded a First-Class Honours classification.
Raj studied for degrees in Mathematics at Keele University (BA Hons) and Oxford University (MSc) and has over 35 years teaching experience in Private Schools, Grammar Schools and Colleges.
He is also an Associate Lecturer for The Open University.
Michael is a creative, experienced and thoughtful practitioner with a strong professional record as an outstanding teacher and intervention specialist. His tailored approach enables students to gain exam confidence, develop new skills and meet personal targets in their learning.
Tolly has a very strong mathematical background, having studied Mathematics and Philosophy at The University of Oxford. This degree allows him to use his knowledge of the foundations of Mathematics to deepen his students’ understanding of the important concepts, and he particularly enjoys pushing students to develop their problem solving skills.
Claire graduated from Imperial College in 2011 with an Engineering degree and is currently in her eighth year of teaching, exam marking and tutoring Mathematics. Her experience as a teacher, examiner and a tutor over the last eight years has given Claire many of the skills necessary to successfully tutor students of all ages.
Tom studied Physics at Imperial College, graduating in 2003 and going on to work as a Project Manager at Defra. In 2006 he took a job tutoring in order to better utilise the knowledge gained from his degree, and quickly found that he was enjoying this far more than his day job.
