A passion for the subject led her to pursue a career as a teacher, where she spent two years working in the UK and gaining a PGCE whilst employed as a teacher.

Laura studied History at Newcastle University and went on to complete the prestigious Teach First Leadership Development programme in 2015, successfully achieving 'outstanding' in her PGCE from UCL Institute of Education.
