Tom studied Physics at Imperial College, graduating in 2003 and going on to work as a Project Manager at Defra. In 2006 he took a job tutoring in order to better utilise the knowledge gained from his degree, and quickly found that he was enjoying this far more than his day job.

Phil studied Environmental Science at the University of Southampton before going on to do his PGCE at the University of Birmingham. He began his teaching career in 2002 and has now amassed 14 years teaching experience, teaching in some of the top schools (in both the private and state sectors and also internationally).

Ian completed a degree in Natural Sciences (Physics, Chemistry, & Maths) at the University of Birmingham achieving a First with Honours in 2003. For the last 17 years Ian has worked in schools and educational organisations in the UK and across the world including Peru, Romania, Ghana, Cambodia, Hong Kong, New Zealand, the Netherlands, and Australia.

Holly graduated with First Class Honours in Pharmacology from Bristol University in 2012 where she developed deep understanding of anatomy, physiology, neuroscience and pharmacology. She was accepted onto the Teach First Leadership development programme and pursued her passion for science and education.

Alan holds a PhD in Physics from the University of Warwick and worked in experimental physics research for a number of years at the Rutherford Appleton Laboratory's neutron source near Oxford. After teaching Mathematics and Physics in Zimbabwe for Voluntary Service Overseas, he qualified as a science teacher in 2000.

Sarah studied Biochemistry and genetics at the University of Nottingham gaining a BSc degree. She went on to complete her PGCE in science at the University of Chester and whilst working full time as a fully qualified teacher, completed her Masters in education there.
